Lara Roche Milton,MA Obituary :In Loving Memory Of Lara Roche

Lara M. (Sarmanian) Roche, 39, of Milton, Massachusetts, and formerly of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

To know Lara was to feel truly seen and deeply loved. Her radiant warmth made everyone feel at home. She was the cherished wife of Kenneth Roche and the adoring, magical mother to Paige (9), Caroline (7), and Luke (4). Being “Mom” was her greatest joy. Lara was the beloved daughter of Michael Sarmanian and the late Donna Sarmanian, and a devoted sister to Jena and Michael (Katie) Sarmanian. She famously cherished her family, even refusing childhood sleepovers to stay in the joyful home they created—a warmth she later built for her own children.

A proud graduate of Bentley University, Lara forged lifelong friendships and enjoyed an 18-year career at Yahoo, earning her MBA from Suffolk University along the way. She was a respected colleague and a loyal friend. Lara found beauty in life’s details: decorating her home, hydrangeas, beach vacations, and curating the perfect playlist.
